Magdalena Nemeth

Mag. Magdalena Nemeth is a university assistant at the Institute of Public Law and Political Science, University of Graz, in the Department of Professor Iris Eisenberger. Magdalena has been a university assistant at the Institute of Law at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences

Her dissertation focuses on State Crisis Communication.

Prior to her work at the the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, she worked at the law firm of Mag. Schmutzer & Mag. Ott-Sander and in the legal department of Sands & Associates, a company specialising in bankruptcy and debt consolidation in Canada.

Magdalena studied law at the University of Vienna and is currently enrolled as a doctoral candidate of law at the University of Graz, In her thesis she focuses on Law on Crisis Management in Austria.

In Addition to Crisis Law, her research focusses on the legal aspects of innovations and new technologies. Apart from her work as university assistant, she is also a researcher within the H2020 Project ETAPAS.

At CIHG, Magdalena is associated with Participative Legal Innovation, where she focuses on the interconnection of law and society during times of crisis.
